Orenda Turbine's CBMSS department has been operating and supporting Engine Management Systems for the Canadian Forces since 1987, and as a result, has accumulated substantial experience and expertise in providing quality services in the following areas:

  • Software development for a variety of applications to perform engine management activities, including logistics planning and maintenance program support.
  • System configuration, integration, deployment and implementation of engine management applications.
  • System and database administration together with development of customized software utilities to facilitate these activities.
  • Supporting end users at local and remote sites with system operations as well as troubleshooting hardware and application software problems, including re-build of databases in the event of disaster recovery.
  • The complete spectrum of data analysis and data integrity management at the central database repository and at the remote customer locations on a daily basis.
  • Addition of newly tracked engine components and part numbers and introduction of changes to operational requirements including life limit definitions, technical orders and service bulletins.
  • Acceptance testing of system and application software updates on an in-house test LAN simulating production LAN/WAN environments.
  • Training for end users with respect to system and application software.

Orenda's CBMSS department is in a unique position to define the requirements, develop the software, implement the applications and provide daily operations support activities for engine management systems.
