Based in the Ukraine, SPE Mashproekt has been designing and developing gas turbines since the early 1950's for the most rigorous and demanding of all applications, marine propulsion. Together with their production associate PA Zorya, they designed, developed, manufactured and supplied complete propulsion systems utilized for the navies and civilian marine customers around the globe. The inherent advantages of the marine design made their use in industrial applications a natural evolution.  From their 6,000,000 square foot facility in Nikolayev, they have supplied over 10 million kW installed power with well over 16.5 million fired industrial operation hours in some of the harshest climatic conditions in the world.

In addition to packaging the GT2500 engine, Orenda works with SPE Mashproekt / PA Zorya in marketing the gas turbine engines that provide power upto 27.5 MW. Click on the images shown to view the design features of these engines;
