Orenda's Test Cell Engineering Group offers independent Engine Testing Services in Orenda Aerospace's modern test cells to support turbine engine research and development, endurance, certification, and production testing.  As Orenda is not directly aligned with any of the major OEM's, client confidentiality is assured.

Our test engineers and technicians are very knowledgeable in gas turbine engine testing. We can support short or long duration test programs and can assist in development of accelerated mission test profiles.  We offer high performance, high channel count data acquisition systems, high-speed pressure scanning systems, automated throttle systems and accessories loading capabilities.  Our ground level test cells experience a wide range of ambient temperature conditions annually.  Orenda Turbines can also offer the support of our Test Services Laboratories (Instrument, Fuel Controls and Mechanical Development Labs), as well as engine assembly and inspection services, if required.

Current and past clients include Honeywell Engines & Systems (formerly AlliedSignal Engines), General Electric and the Canadian Department of National Defence.
